Xilinx 30th Anniversary frozen in time as a solid silver coin

Xilinx held its 30^th anniversary birthday bash at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel this week and part of the celebration goodies included a solid silver coin commemorating the event. Here’s a composite photo of the top and bottom of the coin:

The top of the coin celebrates the company’s 30^th anniversary and the current product line, which includes All Programmable FPGAs, SoCs, and 3D ICs. There’s a lot of technology leadership embodied in those products and more than 3500 patents behind the products.
