Digilent Design Contest 2011 CN-A Prototype Of Switch Fabric Based On Bit-Permutation Group_English. We propose a switch fabric based on Bit-Permutation Group theory. Compared with classic switch fabric, there is no bottleneck such as the limitation of memory access speed and computational overhead when we scale up the port density and switching capacity. The built in priority support of the sorting concentrator is able to attain necessary QoS (Quality of service) under various traffic environments, especially when the video traffic, which is not sensitive to loss, plays a dominant role.
